About Elijah Maths
I am an experienced Mathematics teacher with over 20 years of proven success in helping students achieve strong GCSE and A Level results. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education (Honours) in Mathematics and a Master’s in Education, combining deep subject knowledge with advanced understanding of teaching and learning.
As a current Edexcel GCSE and A Level examiner, I bring detailed insight into assessment objectives, mark schemes and the precise techniques required to maximise marks. This examiner perspective allows me to prepare students strategically, ensuring they understand not only the content but how to apply it effectively in examinations.
My tuition is structured, focused and results-driven. From the outset, I identify gaps in understanding, address misconceptions and implement a clear plan to ensure measurable progress. Lessons are tailored to each student’s target grade, whether securing a strong pass or achieving the highest grades.
All sessions are delivered online using a collaborative whiteboard, making lessons fully interactive. Students engage directly with each problem, develop structured solutions in real time and build the independence required for exam success.
Over two decades in education have reinforced my belief that success in Mathematics is built on clarity, discipline and consistent practice. My aim is to equip every student with the knowledge, strategy and confidence needed to achieve their highest possible grade.
